Alot of times we in the church can understand if someone falls once maybe even twice but seven times we would have them on there way to hell. But, here what makes this man just or righteous in right standing with our Lord is that he got back up again! We can no longer let our daily struggles keep us defeated. God is a merciful God and loving, waiting for us to get back up so that He can dust us off. I don't care how many times my children may mess us, I will continue to love them more and more everyday, and thats how our Heavenly Father is to us. Lets move forward in the things of the Lord today, b/c if we look back at yesterday, we are taking one step back and it is keeping us from the freedom that belongs to us!

Happy Birthday To My Girl Sarah!
Sarah is two today!

Mommas Girl Sophie
My beautiful Sophie is turning Three next Wed. I feel that forgivness is a everyday process, a process that God can help me with, that I don't blame people for things I see happen to me or others around me. If you are having a hard time forgiving someone today, just remember God loves us and knows our hearts, and He is more than enough and more than able to help us daily to heal and forgive. So don't feel overwhelmed today, our walk with Christ has to be a daily thing. It took them 8 trys or more for blood and IV, and praise God they got a vein. They did all the tests, to figure out were the infection was because her white blood count was elevated. They had to cath her and do a throat culture and a Lumbar Puncture in her spine, which they sedated her for, and catscan, X-rays, she is a trooper! Stephen had seizures that were brought on by fevers also, it is hereditary, he was about 1 1/2 when he started having them, and God healed him from them. They wanted to put him on medicine for seizures it would slow his learning down and speech after much prayer, Josh and I refused the medicine and told them he was healed and did not need it. Come to find our our neurologist said he didn't even know why they wanted to put him on that medicine. I am thankful for discernment. These seizures are brought on by a fever going up to fast or going down to fast. Last night Sophie did not run a fever at all, and woke up this morning wanting pizza for breakfast! She says " I feel Bettu Mama" and I believe God has touched and healed her body!! Praying for a speedy recovery, which I believe is already happening!

Work Day
I went to work with Josh today! There were a group of us parents talking and watching this go on and couldn't believe our ears, Tristan, always acts out in anger and cussing, but his mom cussing him, seemed crazy to me. I questioned what kind of mother is she, and thats when God got on to me. What should we expect sinners to do? God told me I didn't know anything she has ever been through or even going through, and my thoughts and comments were just as bad as her acts! Ouch!! God then spoke to me a couple of weeks later to share with her that He loves her and will except her when she has had trouble with that in the past with people. Last night was my opportunity to share it with her, and honestly I almost waited too long. But, I got to her before she drove off. I had never talked to her in my life, and then shared with her what God spoke to me, she just cried and said she really needed that. She said she wasn't saved, and I told I would be here anytime she needed me.
I told someone today that I would like for Tristan to be picked up for church, and they said "Oh no! Well who is going to be taking care of him"? (Tristan really is wild) And I told them I would, I got to thinking if we don't help some people who will. If we reject people, we are rejecting Christ. So be praying for Tristan and His mom.

Football Banquet
Stephen had his first Football Banquet last night, it was a blast!! Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
As some of you may know, I took over the youth about three months ago, it had been over a year or so since I had worked with youth. When Josh and I were at Raceland church here in Ky. he was Assoc. Pastor for four years and the last year served as youth pastor as well, I just helped him along. The kids at Raceland was very hungry for God, and we would have amazing services on Wed. nights. This time I am doing this one without Josh and the kids are as diffrent from the others like night and day. It has been a challange, they have never had anyone in the past to really stay committed to them, they had one before me who was with them for a while, but, never wanted to grow a relationship with them. This has been a bit of a challange for me. I feel very inadequate to do this, the thing that comes natural to me, is that I don't have a problem with loving them. They love to talk during services, they just don't know whats out there with God. God spoke this verse to me today, and encouraged me. So many times I ask God to use me however He sees fit, and for His will to be done, and then I don't want to do it, because it's not what I thought or it makes me feel unqualifed, but I believe me feeling unqualified God will be able to do what He wants to then. So, I thank you Lord, for encouraging me and givng me the honor to work with the youth, I can't wait to see what your plans are for them.

Identity
Psalms 139:1-3- O Lord, you have searched me and know me
You know when I sit annd when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going and out, and my lying down; you are familar with all my ways.
Isn't great to know, at times when we feel we may be alone or know one even understands who we are or what we are going through, God does, He knows everything about us, that's how much He loves us!! So the others went and told their master what had happened they were very grieved by the whole matter, and this is what was said " Wicked servant, I forgave you all that debt, because you entreated me: ought no you also to have had pity on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?' "So his master greatly incensed handed him over to the tortureers until he should pay all he owed him. "In the same way my heavenly Father will deal with you all, if you don not from the heart each one forgive his brother."
Forgivness can be a touchy situation, people will say "but, you just don't understand what has happened to me" and they are right I don't know, but what matters is that God knows.
If we don't walk in forgivness bitterness sets in and eventually will take over. If we don't practice forgivness, it stops the things God wants to do in our lives.
One minute we can say I forgive them, but, they blame that person for what they are going through, that is not forgivness. I have done that before, when Josh and I moved backed to KY I thought I had forgave the people in Virginia but, when I would face something, I would find myself saying if it wasn't for what they did, I wouldn't be this way, I had to forget the past and look on to the future.
It is time we stop being the victim and becoming the victor!!! People often say "I can forgive but I just can't forget" If you don't forget, you are not forgiving. Sometimes we will find ourselves maybe remembering things that have been done to us, but I guess what I mean is we just can't dwell on it all the time, because forgivness can't come that way, we would never recive freedom! I would hate to see what it would be like if Jesus forgave me but didn't forget everything I did or do!
This has to be an everyday thing, we should search our hearts daily and ask God to shed His light on our lives and check us and see is there anything in there Lord that doesn't need to be.
I will leave you with this scriputre: Matthew 18:18 I in truth tell you all that whatever you bind on earth will in heaven remain bound, and whatever you loose on earth will in heaven remain loosed.
I don't want to bind Jesus from forgiving me.

Be praying I am preaching Sun. night and God has laid on my heart to share on forgivness, I know God is already preparing the hearts of those who will be there.

Train up a child in the way the should go.....
The other day when part of my wisdom had broke off, I was praying in the kitchen and ask God to send me a dentist who was cheap but good, and could take care of the problem soon, and I would have no pain. Are we really qualified to bring helpless infants into the world and in eighteen years train them to be caring, responsible, contributing members of society?
In the early months, we hear conflicting information about what's best for our children, and are told that somehow our right or wrong choices (as if there is a right or wrong) will cause our babies to excel in every area of life or never reach their full potentials. What tremendous pressure to put on the shoulders of new, sleep-deprived, first-time parents! It is a wonder that any of us survive.
Then there are several years of determining nap schedules or no schedules, when to begin solid food, what kind of food, and when and how to potty train (I am convinced that my children trained themselves when they were ready, and I just provided the opportunity). Then come the decisions of preschool or no preschool; when should they learn to read; should they go to public, private, or should we homeschool? The lists go on, and we haven't even reached the teenage years yet. Is it possible to make all of the right choices, we worry - what if we miss one or two (or more)?
I absolutely love being a mom, but it is, without a doubt, the most difficult and challenging job I have ever had. My husband says he imagines my days with three boys are like "herding cats" or "wrestling an alligator." This always makes me laugh, but I think they are good descriptions of the almost impossible tasks we face as mothers. And in the midst of it, I feel the weight of each decision as if it is life or death.
Sound familiar? We put too much pressure on ourselves and other mothers by trying to impose these unrealistic expectations. But thank God the task of mothering is really not impossible if we remember that he has given each mom her own unique gifts and abilities. We don't have to be perfect. It's okay for me to be me. And with God's help, I will not only survive these early mothering decisions, but will raise three wonderful boys with their own gifts, abilities, and talents and hopefully they will go on to do the same.

Copyright © 2003 by MOPS International, Inc.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go Big Blue
Josh and I went out of town this weekend and saw a UK game! It seems like I want to automatically think of bad things, but it can even be good things, in order for God to do what He wants to do in us we have to be ready for Him to take the old away and put in the new, you can't have old in the new wineskin or it will break and be of no use. I want God to be able to use all of us. Is there anything maybe God has been speaking to you about lately that need to go, so that He is able to do the new work inside of you. It was so amazing to hear all of the women singing to God and worshiping Him in their own special way. You know, Gods favorite song is the love songs that come from within that we sing to Him expressing how much we love Him.
I went their with a sitution I having been going through weighing me down, and God was so faithful. The way my family carried on, you would think I'd never made a cookie for them before that day.
My almost sixteen-year-old son grabbed some cookies while I was reading e-mail at the computer. He said, "Hey Mom, why don't you come sit with me while I have a cookie?" Wow - what an offer! I hurried to the dining room table. We didn't talk about anything in particular, and the moment probably meant more to me than to Andrew. He's an extrovert and doesn't like to do anything alone, even eating a cookie.
That time at the dining room table reminded me that I never know in advance when I will get an invitation to those special mothering moments. Most don't come with flashing neon signs saying, "This is an important moment to spend with your child!" Rather, mothering is a collection of lots of little invitations and choices. So whether it's another game of Candyland, reading a picture book for the nineteenth time, or sharing a cookie -- make the most of your mothering invitations -- they matter!
Article from MOPS

Train Them Up In The Way They Should Go
Last night during Praise and Worship Sophie, who is getting ready to turn three in December, went up front and started dancing along with other people. I think as a parent everyone has there opinions on how to raise children. I realized all the things I do for my family doesn't go unnoticed, because being a wife and mother is being a servant, and you have to have a servants heart. We all say we want to be more like Christ, I think being a wife and mother is a good way. Five gallons of pure water is good for drinking, cooking, or bathing. But if you add a quart of hydrochloric acid, it becomes unusable. Even though the majority of the liquid, over 95 percent is still water. The original five gallons of water now has become deadly to drink, toxic to cook with and damaging to bathe in. The acid is undetectable by sight alone, for the mixture still appears to be pure water.
We can hide things from people, little things that are not pleasing to God, but it will hinder our walk with God, and nothing goes unseen with God.
I encourage you all today, ask God if there is anything unpleasing to Him, and allow Him to do a new work in you today!!!!

MOPS
I have joined a Mothers Of Preschoolers groop this year, and go to my first one thurs. I think that is a great idea for the kids! I really injoyed writing and telling Stephen how wonderful he is. I will never forget the day I found out I was pregnant, when God spoke to me his name, and when I had him.
Josh and I were so excited I was finally in labor, Stephen was our first child. Anyway, little did we know how long it normally takes a baby to arrive. Josh was speeding down the highway to the hospital missed the turn off, it was so funny, we got there and I was in labor for 13 hours!! I can't even begin to tell you the changes I have seen take place in me since, I decided that spending time with God was just as important as me having to eat. I found myself during the day looking forward for those naps, and feeling Him drawing me closer to Him as I build a strong and close relationship with Him. This has been a life changing week for me, and I can't wait to see what else God has in store for me.
I just want to encourage you to have that special time with the Lord everyday. Yes, believe me I know schedules are busy, there are alot of things I could do with that nap time when they both lay down, but it has to become about sacrafice, and crucifying our flesh, and boy is that hard to do. I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT

Just a thought
I wanted to share something God has been dealing with me about lately, Has God ever laid someone on your heart, to encourage, pray for etc. and a part of you just feels like it is just you thinking that? We had service fri. Night and sat morning and afternoon no of the women wanted to go home. God was so good. Women's lives were spoken into and changed and I believe will never be the same. The women of my church see there is more out there and are so hungry. God was so faithful for me when I preached, Sophie has been sick and I had to take her to the doc. fri. She almost didn't leave this morning and I was going to have her with me, no matter what kind of a morning I had, God showed up and showed off!! I am so glad this is not about me but about Him!!
I want to share something God did in my life fri. Night. Some of you may know that Josh and I pastored a church for a yr. in Virginia and things were going well, the church was growing, new ministries being birthed, but, God saw fit to move us out of there and somewhere else, home. Josh and I experienced hurt like never before there and it has been hard for me to deal with what happened. During praise and worship, God reminded me of the very last service we had at that church and I saw myself saying goodbye to everyone, and God dealt with me and told me it truly was time for me to say goodbye. I believe with all my heart I have found closure, I have once and for all said goodbye. Still a some hurt there, but, oh the healing that is taking place. My God is so faithful and more than enough.

Womens Conference
Say a prayer for me this week, I will be tieing up the loose ends of the conference and getting ready to preach also this weekend during the conference, I am looking forward to God moving on these womans lives and seeing woman get saved!!

Our cookout went well last night with the youth, had a great turn out!
I had two kids get saved for the first time in youth tonight!!! Where did you guys meet? How long have you been married (and what age were you when it happened?), and what attracted you to him in the first place?
Josh and I met at Raceland First Assembley Of God Church in Raceland Kentucky. I was 14 and he was 15 when we met. We have been married 7 years this past June 8th, I was 20 and he was 21 years old, so young. I believe what attracted me to him in the first place was his eyes, he has the prettiest eyes and longest eye lashes, his eyes are brown, you know.
2. You preach…what got you on to this road and what topic do you feel most passionate about?
When I was about 13 I felt God was wanting to use me to minister to women sometime down the road, and I remember speaking to one of the women ministers in our church and told me to just start praying for people at the alters, and I did. I believe that was the beginning of knowing God was going to use me to minister to women. I preach to congregations from time to time, but, I believe mainly it is to minister to women. I feel passionate about sharing the love of Jesus and seeing woman delivered from anything that satan may use to bind them, and keep them from knowing the freedom of Christ and who we are in Christ, His daughters, from depression, low self-esteem, or finding out our identity in Christ, etc, that is what I get excited about!!
3. What inspired you to blog and kept you going when (if you’re like most bloggers…), you didn’t feel like it?
About a year ago Josh introduced blogging to me. There have been so many times and still I question why blog if you don't even know if anyone reads it, but then people that visit reg. and I know maybe there is something God lays on my heart that may minister to someone else.
4. What is the most important piece of advice you will pass on to your children or the people surrounding you?
People in this world may fail you, but God never will, with God all things are possible. And of course This to shall Pass.
5. Finally, what event changed you or made you grow the most? (I’m not including Marriage or Children in this question lol as it’s a given!).
Accepting Christ as my savior, accepting the call He has on my life. And the things that we went through the year we pastored our first church.

The Interview Meme
1. If you want to participate, leave a comment saying "interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions—each person's will be different.
3. You will update your journal or blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview others in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions

Thank you Rachel for the questions.

Thank you papaw Steve!!
The kids loved their gifts from the UK Game!!! Lord, help me to be willing to submit to change and let you work on me.

"Anger is never without reason, but seldom with a good one"
Ben Franklin

If all men Knew what others say of them,
there would not be four friends in the world.
-Blaise Pascal

Careless Words
Matthew 12:36- "But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgement for every careless word they have spoken"

Her name is Ruby
We have an addition to our family, Ruby our little puppy. I thought for awhile what does it mean to have a gentle and quiet spirit? To be gentle means to be lowly, humble, and then I came to quiet. I believe to have a quiet spirit, you must be quiet on the inside. What I mean by that is there would be no place for worry, doubt, etc. we would have to trust in God.
Vs. 5 told us in former times the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves.

Keys to having inner beauty
1. Trusting God.
John 16:33 Tells us that we have peace and confidence in our Lord, and in the world we have tribulation, trials, disstress,
and frustration but be of good cheer and know that Christ has overcome the world.

Tribulation can be described as oppression, pressure, stress, anguish, adversity, affliction, crushing, squashing, squeezing.
How many of you can be honest with yourself and say you feel one or two of these things? If so we don't have a quiet spirit and are not trusting God.

When we learn to allow God to be God in every area of our life, we are finally learning to trust in God. I pray over everything I pray for a good parking space at walmart because I have 3 children with me, now my 5 yr. old son will remind me "lets pray for a parking space mom" and God always is faithful. Through that I learn to trust Him with what ever may come my way.

2. Inner-Peace
When we trust in God we automatically recieve inner-peace.
Phil. 4:6-7 Tells us to be anxious for nothing but let our request be known to Him and then the peace that surpasses all understanding will come in and guard our heart and mind. That peace will guard our mind from unwanted worry, and stress and fill it with peace we can't even understand.
3. Be content
Phil 4 tells us we need to learn to be content in whatever situation we may be in. We need to be content with who we are.
Ps. 139 goes in such detail on just how God made us.
Did you know:
Even before we were created God new our actions and our thoughts
God took personal interest in us, even before our moms
God created our personality
God saw every formation of our body
God already had our days planned
When we complain about what color our hair is or about the size of our nose etc. we are arguing with the one who created us.
God has a plan for you. All of our ablilities and disablilites were created to fit the unique plan God has for you.

1 Samuel 16:7 tells us God looks at the heart what in on the inside not on the outside.

Have you ever saw a bowl of beautiful fruit, and looks so delicious so you go to take a bite of fruit and find it is fake and not real at all?
I encourage you today lets praise God for how he made us and know that if we trust in God, we recieve inner-peace and be content with who we are we will receive Inner-Beauty.

God looks at the fruit and not the fruit bowl

I worship you
When I gaze into your loviness
When I stand in your holiness
When all things that surrond, becomes shaddows in the light of you
When I found the joy of reaching your heart
When my will be comes enthroned in your love
I worship you, I worship you
The reason I live is to worship you.
God dropped that song in my spirit today, I don't know who wrote it, and some of it could be wrong, but I wanted to share it anyway.
